The Tooele Valley Mosquito Abatement District (TVMAD) was established by the Tooele County Commission in 1976 to perform mosquito control operations within the Tooele Valley area. Due to the need for larger and more modern facilities, the District hired NWL Architects to design a new administration building, followed by vehicle storage and service bays.
The new administration building accommodates both year-round and summer seasonal employees and includes a modern research lab, locker room, meeting room, kitchen, laundry, and office spaces. The improvements were constructed in a single phase, ensuring the District could continue its operations throughout the construction period.
Additionally, the facility features secure entry, an 8-bay maintenance garage, a pumphouse, and a power-washing station, providing comprehensive support for the District's operational needs.
