The Southern Utah Veterans Home is a new state-of-the-art 100,500 square foot facility conveniently located under the Big Red Majestic Mountain of Ivins City. This facility provides the very best accommodations for veterans in need of long term care including Rehabilitative Services, Memory Care, and Hospice Care. This facility offers, under one roof, nine separate communities that promote a unique home-like environment. Each of the nine communities off ers a kitchen, dining room, living room, and 12 spacious fully furnished private rooms with private bathrooms and showers. Two of the nine are devoted to Memory Care and share a common courtyard with increased safety measures and carefully designed outdoor pathways. A central administrative wing houses offices, a barbershop, occupational therapy rooms, and a recreation space designed to accommodate daily entertainment and social activities. Another wing houses the food services and laundry facilities. Nurses’ stations are spread throughout the facility to serve the needs of the nine communities. This facility was designed in partnership with THINK Architecture.
