Description

The new 173,400-square-foot Riverview Junior High School is currently under construction in Murray, set to replace the existing school with a modern, state-of-the-art learning environment for students and faculty. The facility's design is modeled after Hillcrest Junior High (completed in 2015), establishing it as a sister school. By utilizing a similar floor plan and programming, the new building underscores the district's commitment to creating functional consistency across its campuses.

The project is organized into three distinct phases to ensure a seamless transition. To allow the current school to remain fully operational without disruption, the new structure is being built on the existing playfields to the west. Once the new facility is complete, the old building will be demolished to make way for expanded parking and a new high school softball field.
