Description

The Millard High School Remodel and Addition represents the exciting culmination of a long-standing partnership. This project is the sixth undertaken by NWL Architects on the campus, a collaboration that has shaped the school's ongoing evolution. Upon its completion, every remaining building at Millard High will have been designed by NWL or its predecessor firms, creating a truly unified and modern campus.

This latest project transforms approximately 95,573 square feet of the existing school. Of this total, roughly 75,025 square feet is new construction, with the remaining square footage dedicated to remodeling existing portions. Situated across seven Board-owned parcels, the project modernizes and expands the school while enhancing functionality and campus flow. Key elements include the replacement of the administrative offices, classrooms, cafeteria/kitchen, commons, and media center, along with the addition of a new lecture hall, a central courtyard, and support spaces. The project also thoughtfully remodels the existing shop and vocational-focused auxiliary building to better serve the evolving needs of students.

Construction began in April 2024, with the main building slated for completion in the 2025 school year, and all final site and remodeling work anticipated by March 2026.
