The Crimson Cliffs physical education complex stands as a testament to tailored excellence, offering robust, thoughtfully designed facilities to fully accommodate the diverse needs of ambitious student athletes. The complex includes a full, brightly lit gymnasium with a vividly colored basketball court and ample telescopic bleacher seating to accommodate plenty of Mustang fans. The building also includes a purpose-built weight training room for athletes to strength-train before the big game. The complex’s impressive outdoor facilities include six generously sized tennis courts for practicing and competing, as well as expansive softball, baseball, and football fields. The school’s football field, which serves as a focal point for school spirit and community gatherings, is encircled by a running track and is adorned by bleachers on opposing sides. This progressive athletics complex was a crucial component of the new 285,000-square-foot Crimson Cliffs High School that NWL Architects completed for Washington County School District in 2019. Both the school and its new athletics facility helped establish a new precedent of scholastic design excellence for the district.
