The City of Manti dedicated several years to securing funding for a new outdoor pool facility. In 2005, they established a Recreation Board and recruited NWL Architects to masterplan their approach. Through careful assessment, it was determined that the community could support and maintain a modest outdoor seasonal aquatics facility. With diligent effort, Manti City and the Recreation Board successfully secured sufficient loan amounts through the Community Impact Board to initiate development. The 6,700-square-foot, 152,715-gallon outdoor pool complex in Manti stands as an exemplary achievement, showcasing what can be accomplished on a tight budget within a small community. The developed pool features zero-depth entry for a smooth land-water transition for users, as well as a multi-level interactive water play structure, a current channel, and a flume slide. These family-friendly features are integrated with lap lanes, catering to both recreational users and regimented athletes alike. Since its successful construction, the Manti Aquatic Center has continued to serve as an invaluable recreational resource for the community.
