NWL Architects designed Building 5 on Campbell Scientific's Logan campus in partnership with Stettler Construction through a design-build delivery method. Campbell Scientific is a global leader in data acquisition systems and environmental monitoring equipment. This expansion nearly doubles the available space on the campus, providing modern facilities that balance operational needs with employee well-being.
The approximately 90,000-square-foot building includes manufacturing and machine shop operations on the ground level, with a 10,000-square-foot mezzanine accommodating office space. Abundant natural light flows throughout from expansive glass and skylights. An outdoor employee plaza with sunshade offers a welcoming gathering space, and an employee gym includes a yoga room, pickleball court, weights, and treadmills—reflecting Campbell Scientific's commitment to supporting its team.
This expansion accommodates the company's growing workforce while freeing capacity in existing structures for enhanced R&D and production operations. Building 5 complements our earlier work on Building 4, reinforcing our ongoing partnership with Campbell Scientific as they advance their mission to deliver rugged, reliable monitoring solutions for weather, water, energy, and environmental applications worldwide.
