Office Runner/Front Desk

PURPOSE

A full-time position providing administrative and operational support for the office. The Office Runner/Front Desk team member works collaboratively with employees, clients, visitors, and vendors to ensure daily office activities are completed efficiently while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Authority)

  1. Maintain and stock break rooms, coffee stations, restrooms, and office supplies. Monitor printers, copiers, and office equipment; replenish paper and supplies as needed.
  2. Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  3. Greet and assist staff, visitors, clients, and vendors.
  4. Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and general inquiries.
  5. Maintain clean, organized reception, break room, conference rooms, and common office areas.
  6. Prepare conference rooms and assist with the setup and breakdown of meetings, office events, and catering.
  7. Run business-related errands and assist with company vehicle upkeep as needed.
  8. Perform data entry and maintain document archiving and storage inventory records.
  9. Assist with administrative tasks, various office projects, and daily office operations.

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan ahead and manage multiple priorities.
  4. Must be good at working in a collaborative team environment.
  5. Has experience with a range of administrative tasks.
  6. Attention to detail.
  7. Ability to take directions in a positive manner.
  8. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, over the phone, and in writing.
  2. Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday, with some days requiring prolonged sitting and others requiring prolonged standing or walking.
  3. Ability to move throughout the office and between work areas to perform daily responsibilities.
  4. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull office supplies, packages, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds regularly and more than 25 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  5. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb a step stool or ladder, and perform other physical tasks.
  6. Must be willing and able to perform seasonal outdoor maintenance as needed.
